Can't wait to see how it turns out! <BR/><BR/>The Kitchner stitch for grafting toes is NOT intuitive but neither is it hard (spoken from a knitter who has done it successfully perhaps six times). I never do it without my handy dandy guide right beside me and I find the instructions in the little spiral-bound Interweave guide...forget what its called and I don't find it in my bag just now...anyhow, those are well written and easy to follow.<BR/><BR/>As for male knitters, I think they exist mostly in the blogosphere and might even be phantoms---most of my favorite knitting blogs are by male knitters--go figure.
